Wolverhampton Girls School has a long and established history of providing outstanding education for girls for over 100 years. With numbers increasing yearly, they required a new Science Block to be designed and built. Greswolde Construction was the appointed contractor and required a science laboratory FF&E specialist who could help them deliver the fit-out to a DfE standard & BS EN16121 Level 2 cost-effectively.

How Brookhouse Delivered a Cost-Effective and Efficient Science Block Fit-Out for Wolverhampton Girls School
Brookhouse engaged with Greswolde and their Architect to assist with the design and integration for the FF&E. Working collaboratively in Revit(BIM) we were able to help minimise areas of potential conflict. We were also able to help value engineer the initial proposed design to make it more efficient, cost less and provide the client with more for their money. The science laboratories were configured to maximise the room’s space and give the client some variation in teaching space. Each room was provided with teacher demo desk with plenty of space for pupils to switch between practical and theory in the classroom.
